**NOTE: The Student rate applies to full-time students only not Post Doc. You must be a full-time student at the time of registering, even if you won't be a full-time student by the date of the conference. You must upload a valid full-time student ID when registering and these will be checked by the Conference Organiser. If you register at the student rate and do not have a valid full-time student ID your registration will be changed to the non-student rate and you will need to pay the difference.

The Australian Government encourages travellers to apply for their Australian visa as far in advance of the planned departure date as possible.
European passport holders can apply for a visa online through the Australian Government’s eVisitor system - http://www.immi.gov.au/Services/Pages/evisitor-online-applications.aspx.
Passport holders from a range of other countries (including the United States of America) can apply for a visa online through the Australian Government’s Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) system - https://www.eta.immi.gov.au/ETA/etas.jsp.
Alternatively, passport holders outside of Australia can apply for ETA through a travel agent, airline office, specialist service provider or Australian visa office. (Note: The eVisitor and ETA systems provide the electronic equivalent of a visa for the short-term traveller which replaces the traditional passport visa label or stamp. Most applications are processed instantly.)
LETTERS OF INVITATION
On advice from the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship, we do not provide Letters of Invitation. Their advice is that, if you meet the entry requirements for a visa, your presentation confirmation letter (along with a paid registration confirmation email and tax invoice) will be sufficient evidence of your attendance at the Conference. Therefore, we encourage you to complete your paid registration as early as possible to allow sufficient time for you to apply for a visa. POLICIES
Payment Policy: It is a condition of registration that full payment is received prior to the commencement of the event. If this full payment is not received, delegates will not be admitted.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be advised in writing to the Conference Office. Cancellations up to 30 days prior will receive a refund of the registration fee, less an administrative charge of $125. Refunds after this date will be at the discretion of the Organising Committee. Registrations are transferable to a colleague at any time prior to the Conference Registration provided the Conference Registration Office is advised in writing.
Privacy Notice: The primary purpose for collecting personal information supplied on this form is to process your registration. These details will be used to keep you informed of future ICON events, and on the Conference delegate listing provided to delegates and sponsors.
